first impression of "dry remedy" oil

in january, aveda will be launching a new product for the dry remedy line. i was lucky enough to get this product before the public and try it out as a stylist.

about the product:

  • its part of aveda dry remedy line; instantly puts 60% of moisture back into your hair.
  • its an oil used on dry hair; apply 2-3 drops starting at ends and working up. apply to dry hair to get rid frizz, and smooth dry ends.
  • does not contain any silicones; most oil products contain silicone which can weigh down the hair or make it appear greasy.
  • made from buriti oil from brazil.
  • comes to aveda stores in january 2014.

my first impressions:

as a female with fine textured hair, i find that most oil products make my hair greasy and piece-y. so when i first used this i was very happy to see that my hair did not look greasy; it made my hair very shine-y and smooth. for my hair, i would only use 2 drops, out of preference. it has a very earthy smell (as do all aveda products). i would recommend this to anyone, and everyone with dry hair, frizzy hair, or fine hair.

i give it 4 out of 5 stars.

thanks for reading guys!
